Signed to Distortion Productions, Amulet is girl-fronted goth-industrial built on driving bass, melodic hooks, powerful vocals, atmospheric synths and dirty electronic beats. Blending goth rock, darkwave, industrial, post-punk and electronic music, Amulet creates a sound that is polished, intense and deeply personal.

Led by vocalist Stephanie Stryker and primary songwriter and multi-instrumentalist MJ Phoenix, Amulet explores the darker side of the human experience through themes of love, loss, identity and the supernatural. Their music pairs emotionally direct lyrics with atmospheric arrangements, infectious melodies and an unmistakably female voice at the center of the darkness.

Amulet is the founder of #girldustrial, a movement showcasing melodic, vocal-forward goth-industrial music and the unique sonic qualities of female voices. The band also curates the Girldustrial Spotify playlist, highlighting melodic female-fronted artists across industrial and dark alternative music.

Onstage, Amulet turns that sound into a highly visual, high-energy performance. Led by frontwoman Stephanie Stryker and primary songwriter and multi-instrumentalist MJ Phoenix, Amulet centers powerful female vocals while occasionally handing the lead to Phoenix on tracks such as “Dirty Hard Beats.”

Amulet’s visual world combines high fashion with cold fantasy: icy tones, gothic silhouettes, surreal glamour and an atmosphere that is beautiful, distant and slightly dangerous.

Amulet has performed at major events in the dark alternative scene, including Dark Force Fest, Dark Castle Fest and Absolution Fest, and has shared stages with artists including LaPlegua, Assemblage 23 and Solar Fake.

In 2027, Amulet enters its darkest era yet with its third studio album, The Dark. Produced by Christopher Hall of Stabbing Westward and mastered by Rob Early of 11Grams, the album expands the band’s goth-industrial sound through a darker, more cinematic exploration of depression, identity and the supernatural. A six-single waterfall began with “I am the Dark” on October 16, 2026, leading to the album’s release on April 30, 2027 on Distortion Productions, available on vinyl, CD and digital formats.
